Scoring in the Amazon Cloud
ADAPA in the Amazon Cloud uses the Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2) infrastructure and so ADAPA can be launched on different instance types (or virtual machines), availability zones, and regions as provided by Amazon EC2.
Availability Zones are distinct locations that are engineered to be insulated from failures in other Availability Zones. Regions consist of one or more Availability Zones, are geographically dispersed, and are located in separate geographic areas or countries. By launching an instance in a region closer to you and your customers, you insure shorter latency times.
Available Amazon Cloud Regions
- US West Region (North California and Oregon)
- US East Region (North Virginia)
- EU (Ireland)
- Asia-Pacific (Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo)
- South America (Sao Paulo)
